🐴 THE HERD is BACK! 🐴 Sports season is here, and it’s time to show everyone what Amherst student spirit looks like! 🔥 Every home game we’ll have a new student section theme, so grab your friends, dress up, get loud, and let’s make The Herd the toughest student section around. 📣 Our first two themes are here: 🏐🎩 September 3 | 7:00 PM vs. Broncos Crazy Hats & Headwear 🤪 The crazier the better! From giant hats and wigs to helmets, cowboy hats, funny caps, animal hats, and anything over-the-top—let’s tip our hats to the Broncos! ❤️🖤 🏈September 4 | 7:00 PM vs. Pleasanton Bulldogs BRONCO PRIDE! Show up in your best Amherst gear! Rock your jerseys, Bronco shirts, face paint, beads, pom poms, capes, cowboy hats, bandanas, sunglasses, or anything red, black, and white. This is the night to represent Amherst loud and proud! 📸 Tag your friends. 🎉 Bring the energy. 📣 Be loud every play. 🐴 BE THE HERD! #TheHerd #GoBroncos #AmherstBroncos #StudentSection #FridayNightLights #BroncoPride #BeTheHerd #SmallTownBigSpirit

🐴 THE HERD STUDENT SECTION EXPECTATIONS 🐴 One Team. One School. One Herd. The Herd exists to create the best home-court and home-field advantage possible while representing Amherst with pride, passion, and class. 👥 WHO CAN BE IN THE HERD? Grades 7-12 ✅ Welcome to join The Herd at all home events. Grades 4-6 ✅ You’re welcome to join the student section as long as you follow all Student Section Expectations. ⚠️ Students who are disruptive, unsafe, or choose not to follow expectations will be asked to return to their parents or guardians. Preschool-3rd Grade ❤️ We love your Bronco spirit! Please enjoy the game while sitting with your parent or guardian rather than in the student section. ⸻ 📣 THE HERD EXPECTATIONS ❤️ Cheer FOR Amherst. Support our Broncos with positive energy instead of putting opponents down. 🔥 Be Loud. Bring the energy from the first serve, first pitch, first whistle, or kickoff until the final buzzer. 🎭 Dress the Theme. Go all in! The more students participating, the better The Herd looks. 📱 Be Present. Put the phones away and be part of the action. 🎶 Follow the Leaders. Join the chants and traditions together to create one loud student section. 🏐🏈⚾🏀 Support ALL Programs. Whether it’s football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, softball, baseball, or any Amherst activity—we show up and support one another. 🎺 Respect Performances. Give the band, cheerleaders, dance team, and other performers your attention and space while they’re performing. 🤝 Respect Everyone. Officials, opponents, visiting fans, coaches, teammates, and school staff deserve respect. 🚫 No Profanity or Unsportsmanlike Behavior. No inappropriate chants, taunting, throwing objects, or behavior that reflects poorly on Amherst. 👥 Stay Together. Remain in the designated student section and help create one unified Herd. ⏰ Stay Until the End. Win or lose, we support our teams from start to finish. 🧹 Leave It Better Than You Found It. Throw away trash and take care of our facilities. ⸻ 🐴 THE HERD TRADITIONS ⭐ Stand during key moments of every contest. ⭐ Celebrate Amherst scores and big plays together. ⭐ Welcome younger students and help teach them our traditions. ⭐ Take one Herd photo before each home contest. ⭐ Be the loudest student section in every gym and stadium we visit. ⭐ Represent Amherst with pride—even on the road. ⸻ 🐴 THE HERD CREED We are Loud. We are Respectful. We are Positive. We are Unified. We represent Amherst with Pride. ❤️🖤 BE THE HERD. 🐴
