Miss Jen’s preschool and pre-kindergarten classes headed to the art room to create masterpieces for the PTO art fundraiser. Some journalism students helped the PK students yesterday and the 4th grade artists helped with the preschoolers this morning.

After consulting with the National Weather Service, Thursday’s schedule for the NSAA State Softball Championship has been adjusted as follows:
- First games will begin at 12:00pm
- Games will follow a rolling schedule, with each game starting approximately 30 minutes after the previous one ends.
- NSAA will use an abbreviated pre-game schedule, which will include 10-minute warmup time on the field and a plate meeting.
KCHS vs Hastings St. Cecilia will play at noon on Field #1
NSAA will continue monitoring conditions with the NWS.

The softball team begins their state tournament run TOMORROW 10/14 at 9:00 a.m. at the Smith Softball Complex in Hastings. They will take on Yutan/Mead in their first round game. Games will be streamed on the NFHS Network, which requires a paid subscription.
