The Kearney Catholic Stars boys team has shown great resilience and strong form lately. On April 23, they dominated Lakeview with an impressive 8-0 victory, thanks to 2 goals and 2 assists from Easton Malleck and a hat-trick by Breckon Malleck. The following day, they crushed Gering 10-1, with Easton Malleck scoring a hat-trick and Kristian Marchese adding one goal. 

On April 25, the boys fought hard against Scottsbluff, drawing 2-2 before winning in a penalty shootout. The next day, they concluded their regular season on a high note securing a clean 3-0 victory over Holdrege with Kristian Marchese scoring one goal. This win extended their impressive winning streak to 6 consecutive victories.

The girls team also had an outstanding week. On April 21 they defeated Lexington 5-0. On April 23 they drew 0-0 against Lakeview but won in a penalty shootout. The next day they did the same against Gering, winning on penalties once again. They then secured a solid 2-0 victory over Scottsbluff and finished with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Holdrege. The girls remain completely undefeated throughout the entire regular season.
