Kearney Catholic Stars – Soccer Report April 24th, 2026
The Kearney Catholic Stars boys team has shown great resilience lately. On April 16, they defeated The Platte 2-1 in a tough match, with Easton Malleck scoring one of the goals. The following day, on April 17, they beat highly-ranked Scotus Columbus (No. 7 in Class B) 4-3 in a dramatic penalty shootout.
The girls team delivered a fantastic and dominant performance, winning against Scotus Columbus on April 17 in a tense penalty shootout while staying completely undefeated this season with strong confidence and excellent play. The girls played Lexington on April 22nd, delivering a great performance by beating them 5-0 and continuing a great undefeated season.
