The 2026 Spring Esports team competed in Fortnite, Mario Kart 8, and Hearthstone this year. The team consists of juniors Wyatt Deweese and Jackson Day; freshmen Landon Bickford and Kira Bell; and eighth grader Oliver O’Brien.
The Fortnite team consists of Jackson Day, Wyatt Deweese, Landon Bickford, and Oliver O’Brien. The Mario Kart 8 team consists of Wyatt Deweese, Landon Bickford, Kira Bell, and Oliver O’Brien. Finally, the Hearthstone Team, which had only one player, Landon Bickford.
The Fortnite team competed in state Fortnite on March 28, 2026, placing and medaling 8th place, falling just short of the Red Cloud Indians. The Mario Kart 8 team had state playoffs on March 31, 2026 and April 7, 2026. State Esports will take place at Doane University in Crete Nebraska, on April 17th and 18th starting around 11:30 a.m., with awards at 1:30 p.m.
